*A four week course providing a positive foundation for puppies eight to sixteen weeks of age and their whole families. Start pups off with essential commands, manners, socialization with people and other dogs, behavior modification and much more.
Pet-Agree's Puppy Kindergarten course is designed to teach you to teach your own puppy in a positive manner. The course is designed for the young pup to start between 8-14 weeks of age. The training techniques focus on clear communication and praise to build a rewarding, trusting relationship between you and your family with your puppy. Children are very welcome to participate in the course.
During the four 1 hour and 30 minute sessions, a series of basic commands with instruction on how to accomplish them will be covered. Some of the commands include “SIT,” “DOWN,” “STAY,” “COME,” and “LOOSE LEASH WALK” (walking well on a leash). Also included in the lesson plan are socialization periods with other puppies and families to build confidence, and basic grooming to include handling of paws, teeth, ears, etc. Problem behaviors such as jumping, barking, and nipping are also covered, as well as housebreaking theories and techniques. Each session includes all natural treats, playtime, question and answer period, instruction and practice. Homework sheets are provided to guide you through out your pup's development.
